The Myths

Most people think that hemp is the same as marijuana.  NOT true.  Hemp has been genetically engineered to contain less than .3% THC (the psychoactive ingredient) and has no effects for those who try to use it recreationally.

The Facts

Hemp does have the longest strands of any plant in the world, making it perfect for textiles.  Hemp is lighter, stronger, and more durable than virtually any natural fiber.

Hemp can be used to make thousands of products.  These include paper, textiles, building materials, foods, oils, soaps, and many more.

The Declaration of Independence was drafted on paper made from hemp.  Many of the founding fathers were known for growing hemp on their personal land.
